The Americas will be the longest stage of the expedition, but no less intense than Africa. The expedition will start as far south as the boat across the Atlantic will go. From there, the journey heads north with the Pacific Ocean on the left.
Once through Central America and into Mexico, the plan is to either:

ride along the coast through California, Oregon and Washington State up to Vancouver, Canada; or
-
along The Rockies, through Washington State to Vancouver, Canada.
By the time I cycle to Canada, some well-earned rest will be needed, as well as some training for the harsh winter that will lie ahead.
