This expedition is BIG, and I can’t do it alone.
There are many ways you can help The Cycle Strongman Expedition:
-
Spread the word – Tell others about the expedition and suggest that they check out the website. The more people that we can inspire to change their old habits, the better off we’ll all be and, for that, the planet will thank us! (See ‘grass roots’).
-
Change your Habits – It’s the little things in life that can make the biggest differences. Be mindful of the impact that your life and simple choices have on this fragile planet. Ride a bicycle.
-
Safe Havens – Strange places, wild dogs, and unfriendly people are all obstacles which need to be overcome. If you know of friends or family along the route that may be able to offer shelter for the night, or a home cooked meal, I’d love to hear from you. (Please ask the people you have in mind and inform them prior to getting in contact with the CSX Expedition).
-
Donate to Oxfam – Help change the world by sponsoring the CSX in the 1 cent/km challenge. All money raised will go towards helping the expedition support Oxfam Australia in their global fight against poverty. You can also make a one-off donation to Oxfam Australia through the CSX Everday Hero page.
-
Buy a CSX T-shirt! – 100% of all proceeds will go to Oxfam and you’ll be helping promote the expedition. You can purchase your Official CSX T-Shirt Here.
-
Help with the gear – It’s expensive to buy all the necessary gear to undertake such an expedition. While it is entirely self-funded, I will be relying on the kindness of strangers to help me along the way. If you feel inspired by the expedition or are unable to offer shelter or food along the route, you can still help by donating gear to the cause. Items range from anywhere between $5 – $7000 and your assistance to make the expedition a success will be acknowledged on the site (see Equipment Wish List).
-
Partner with the Expedition – From time to time I’m going to need help supplying gear and providing logistical support to the expedition. If you think your company may be able to help, I’d love to hear from you. (see ‘Expedition Sponsors’)
