Congratulations on completing the first stage of your journey Chris! Enjoy the rest in Darwin. I'm looking forward to hearing more about your adventures when you set sail northwards.

Hi Chris,
Well done mate. I've been following your journey avidly and really enjoying your descriptive writing. So many adventures there'll be a gazillion books in you by the time you're done. You are an inspiration to free spirit buddy. I pray for your continued health and safety.
If you have a minute to spare you could check out a slideshow video with original song I've just uploaded to Youtube, a first time experience for me on several levels. Hope you enjoy it, in some ways it reminds me of you. Truth by Conrad'n'Jack in search, or copy and paste: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eGwCPgoEYRA
Take care, Garth, Namaste.

Hi Chris
Just read your 16th June entry. I was really pleased to hear you were still going - after the earlier description of your poor overworked crumbling body in Northern Qland. Andy & I are at Tennant Ck - not that far from you in a car (or demon road train), but a long way by bike. Today I met some Indigenous women from Boroloola, here to dislay & sell their art. We can really sympathise with the red dust & sand ... everywhere & in everything. This is surely the really hard bit & it had to go downhill after Hamilton Is!! I also saw a photo of a fellow who rode a bike from Adelaide to Darwin in 1906. Not much tar. Look after yourself (more meat pies) and keep up those great descriptions fo rour vicarious pleasure. with love, Sue & Andy.

Hey Chris,

Come on... less cycling... more blogging!

Just kidding.... But I am enjoying your posts, so keep them up! Bromley usually makes me read it and then I have to give him an overview (he is so lazy).

Kimbo. xoxo.

Chris.

Nice work man.

I sit at my desk day after day, dreaming of my next adventure. I love to travel and have just got back from 2 months in Africa.

I love to hear stories of people's spirits still alive in this ever increasing corporate world, it is good motivation.

All the best mate, hats off to you for getting out and about.

Hi Chris,

It's interesting to read about your experiences along the road. Even though I have not been biking much with heavy gear, I can imagine how it is. At the moment I'm exercising for Kristiansand to Hovden bike race and do approx 300-400km a week on some quite busy roads and with many unpacient car drivers. I hope you take care. Not all drivers are sober and reliable. We look forard to see you in Norway next year and I would like to be able to join you for a short lap.

Hugs from Roland, Olaug and all family joins in.
