As many friends of the Cycle Strongman Expedition noticed, the site has been down for the past month. It crashed in what I imagine was a blaze of internet glory, producing not a whisper of sound nor a puff of smoke – a silent and sudden death. Scattered throughout the ashes, I, managed to find [...] With clear skies and less pollution, the Sumatran sun was of an intensity I’d never experienced before. The peaks of sleeping volcanos tower above. Rising thousands of metres above the valley floor, they dwarf all but the lesser brothers and sisters that came and went before.
